This role contributes to Starbucks success by grounding actions in partner insights. You will help us deliver partner experience that balances the science of data and the art of innovation. You will ultimately design programs unlocking a range of potential opportunities and delivering value to the partner and to the business.
A successful associate strategy manager is curious, logical, and passionate about the partner. They develop and manage cross-functional teams; can thrive during times of uncertainty and changing priorities, understand and effectively leverage the organization to accomplish business goals, and model Starbucks guiding principles.
As the driver of great partner experience, you will:
- Develop a refined vision and case-for-being for your programs.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders to ensure clear and thoughtful strategy, narrative, and execution.
- Lead data mining to establish partner insights for the team and programs.
- Develop research learning plans and briefs for optimal partner listening.
- Be the steward of the partner experience business case (partner lifetime value model), institutionalizing it across the enterprise.
- Lead strategic problem-solving by helping teams identify and define key issues, develop hypotheses and design required analyses.
- Represent the Partner Experience Innovation Center team as a key partner with other business functions, driving alignment with partner and business goals and objectives.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
- Ability to achieve excellence in leading and enhancing team success, facilitation and thought leadership.
- Ability to operate effectively amid ambiguity.
- Ability to break down complex problems and communicate concisely, influence effectively, and have a growth mindset for feedback.
- 5+ years in business management, strategic planning and analytics preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business management or similar
