Reports to: - The Finance Director.
Main tasks and responsibilities: -
The Credit Controller is responsible for the following tasks:
General: -
· To assist in taking some responsibility for the financial control of the debtor book. Oversee and keep control of the debtor book.
· To debt collect on a routine/daily basis.
· Entering all transactions on Quickbooks and maintaining invoicing accurate records.
· Act in a discreet and confidential way making sure that financial and personal data is protected at all times.
· Bring to the attention of the Finance Director all/any matters that may have an adverse material affect on the business.
· Constantly update the CRM system
Credit Control: -
· To constantly take action to reduce the debtor book and manage overdue accounts and outstanding invoices.
· To actively chase payments where these are due.
· To credit check/credit score new applicant debtors and take suitable action.
· To produce a weekly listing of outstanding accounts.
· To continue to pursue all outstanding accounts up to and including Credit Protection Association and County Court applications and to manage these processes.
Invoicing: -
· Using Quickbooks to complete daily invoicing (and credit note production when required) within a same-day period, maintaining an electronic log with suitable back-up.
· Maintain accurate Sales Statistics based upon Invoicing necessary to assist the Management and also in the compilation of commission payments.
Remuneration: -
· The holiday entitlement will be 22 days per annum (or pro-rata).
