Superior Farms is an employee-owned company and the leading purveyor of farm-to-table American lamb. We proudly source lamb from family farmers and ranchers across the Western US so that we can supply the highest quality natural lamb to our retail and foodservice customers.

**Summary: **Supports the sales & marketing teams of Superior Farms American Lamb and SFPP through the ideation, creation, and monitoring of content for traditional and online marketing channels, including ecommerce, social media, and SEO.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Company Websites

  • Generate/curate original content.
  • Assist with online promotions.
  • Perform online competitive reviews.
  • Respond to consumer and retail inquires / FAQs.

Social Media

  • Monitors and facilitates the social media accounts in cooperation with Director of Marketing.
  • Interact with social media users to promote company (likes, communicating with influencers, etc.) This includes response to social media comments and questions as needed.
  • Support agency social activity re online promotions / influencers / contests
  • Capture, track, evaluate & recommend actions based upon data & analytics.
  • Manage shared marketing calendar to plan and present upcoming content.

Sales Support

  • Support online messaging with businesses and individuals in a manner that helps drive online traffic to company brands.
  • Support brand sales initiatives (sales, launches, etc.).
  • Help maintain database of product via ERP, to include product photography and descriptions as well as sell sheets.

Office Duties

  • Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward them to appropriate personnel.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
  • Answer questions about organization.
  • Perform other clerical duties as needed, such as mailing, filing, photocopying, and collating.
  • Prepare agendas and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
  • Make copies of correspondence or other printed materials.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Must be able to interface well with all employees of the Company and to represent the Company in a highly professional manner. Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Must be multi-task oriented.

**Computer Skills: **

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of various computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation and/or ERP software as well as the ability to type and perform 10 key by touch if germane to your position. The ability to work with standard web publishing forms and common social media management sites is required.
