Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
This role is to innovate and implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and, and, if needed to completement these technologies, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) solutions to support our processes and repetitive tasks. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with business operations and support them in the definition for their needs to optimize workflow processes. You will also lead initiatives related to enhancing IT productivity and employee satisfaction, by improving our ticketing system Service Now and Jira.
The role is part of our Robotic team that plays a crucial role in freeing our people up to spend more time on what they do best – giving our clients and partners a great service. They do this by working closely with the business to identify automation opportunities across all internal systems to drive significant gains in business productivity.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Work on bug fixing and improve user experience with RPA and OCR processes
- Analyse identified processes and assess their eligibility for automation
- Partner with the Business to define best solution to implement automation in their processes and repetitive tasks
- Support the launch and implementation of RPA solutions
- Design, develop and test automation workflows
- Create process and end-user documentation
- Deploy RPA components including processes, robots, development tools, code repositories, and logging tools
- Support and maintain other low code applications such as Service Now and Jira
- Organise and report on unit and system tests of process automations to ensure that they are robust as well as being resilient to system failure and business data exceptions.
- Devise and maintain best practices for process definition, naming standards, common code components and document templates
- Document the developed automated processes to ensure that they follow agreed best practices and are easy to support and maintain.
- Maintain existing processes that have already been deployed in production – including debug of errors and applying fixes to ensure consistency of service.
- Apply knowledge of best practices in RPA and OCR
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Process Automation Developer?
- Experience in RPA (UiPath), OCR (FlexiCapture) and VBA.
- Experience in Service Now coding is a plus
- Work in Agile methodology
- Ability to define and review processes with the business
- Ability to multi-task while managing deadlines, perform well under pressure, work independently and as a part of a team.
- Good financial business acumen and awareness of business trends.
- High degree of initiative flexibility and creativity.
