The Robotics and Perception Group conducts research on the intersection of robotics and computer vision that will benefit all of humanity. The research carried out in our lab has received numerous prestigious awards in academia and industry and received extensive media coverage in the news worldwide for our work on autonomous drone navigation and agile navigation of quadrotors using standard cameras or event-based cameras.
With our vast success in both academic and industry collaborations, we are now looking for an engaged dynamic personality to join our team whose main focus lies on project management and support of high-impact research.

Your responsibilities
- Management, coordination, and implementation of research projects in the field of aerial robotics and computer vision
- Contributions to research and teaching
- Contribution to third-party funding proposals and reporting, including national, EU, and international scale.
- Providing strategic and operational structure for collaboration activities at UZH, such as meetings and instigation of joint research projects.
- Organization and implementation of scientific activities and events, such as research retreats, exchanges, and visiting programs, network meetings, etc.
- Ensure work is delivered to time and quality expectations and within budget.
- Support team and outreach events.
Your profile
- A Ph.D. in engineering, natural- or computer science, or mathematics.
- Interest in science management
- A high degree of independence and pleasure in organizing
- Sound knowledge of robotics, computer science, and related field
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Very good written and spoken English
- Interest in working on interdisciplinary projects
- Problem-solving and organizational skills
- Independent, reliable, and structured working style
- Excited to work in a multicultural and academic environment
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills in both English and German with a high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations and across hierarchies
