Caterpillar Financial is the captive financing arm of Caterpillar, the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, engines, and industrial turbines.
Within our Structured Finance division, we offer an interesting opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join our Mining Finance team based in Zurich.
The primary focus of the position will be:
- to analyse, structure and underwrite cross-border and local financing transactions in Africa, Europe and CIS,
- to support adequate documentation of transactions,
- to ensure portfolio performance and policy adherence and
- to engage in projects and process improvement initiatives for the business.
The successful candidate will work closely with our origination and portfolio management teams and engage frequently with other internal and external stakeholders, customers, and partners.
The requirements for the position include:
- a university degree in economics, law or engineering,
- sound analysis and credit underwriting skills combined with know-how of relevant systems and methodologies,
- fluency in English (orally and in writing) and the ability to craft and communicate sound credit recommendations,
- a high level of engagement to work pro-actively within the deal team,
- up to date skills to work with systems and IT applications,
- the ability and willingness to learn and develop further.
