Medical Coordinator responsible for managing all medical care for Valiant and Ukrainian personnel conducting EOD training in Western Ukraine.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the provision of occupational health and overall daily medical care for US instructor personnel and Government of Ukraine students at the US sponsored training facility in western Ukraine.
- Serve as the overall medical coordinator and senior instructor.
- Medical coordinator will lead the medical team’s efforts serving as first responders, evacuation management and operate daily sick-call.
- Serve as the program manager’s medical coordinator.
- Lead the development of suitable medical protocols in accordance with relevant international standards supporting EOD and UXO training and real-world operations.
- Lead the delivery of medical training to US and Government of Ukraine students to include but not limited too, Combat Lifesaver Course, patient mobilization and transport, MEDEVAC procedures, hygiene, environmental risks assessments
- Hold and maintain appropriate medical certifications to provide occupational health care and deliver certified training
- Provide telemedicine support to US personnel in satellite locations throughout Ukraine
- Provide support to US contractor medical evacuation supplier in implementing CASEVAC and MEDEVAC missions

Position RequirementsQualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10+ years military experience with the rank of E-7 preferred
- 2-year degree (associate degree) preferred
- Special Operations Medic qualified
- 5 or 7 level Pararescueman
- Special Forces Medical Sergeant (18D)
- Special Operations Combat Medic
- Ranger Medic
- Navy SARC
- SEAL Medic
- SOAR Flight Medic
- MARSOC Medic
- Tactical medicine
- Deployments within the last 10 years/or other named Contingency operations
- Five (5) years of experience supporting SOF military training scenarios Physical Demands
- Shall be able to lift and carry over 60 pounds without fatigue or physical strain or stress that will cause injury.
- Shall be able to safely maneuver through field environment.
- Shall be able to stand for 4-hour intervals at a time outdoors, shall be able to maintain mobility (to include running) in a field environment.
- Able to walk cross-country (uneven, rocky, sandy, and water obstacles) in all weather conditions during day, night, and low visibility periods.
- Able to operate outside of a normal office environment where restrooms and wash facilities are not available.
- Able to be transported in government provided ground vehicles and/or aviation.
