Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity
We are currently looking for 2 permanent full time salespeople for our Hautapu store. These are retail sales roles but as a 6 day a week store, we require flexibility across the week.
Reporting to the Business Manager in Hautapu, your key focus will be providing great service to shareholders in our retail store.
You will concentrate on:
- Providing retail sales and customer service to our shareholders
- Giving advice to customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock, and general agricultural products
- Operating a point of sale (POS) system
- Helping and maintaining the bulk store
- Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock
- Restock and display our products
Mōhou ake | About you
We are looking for someone with a sound background in the farming sector and a broad knowledge of products and services. You will also have proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
- You are positive, high energy with a great personality
- You will have a full clean Class 1 driver's license
- You will be physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
- You can engage and talk to anyone
- You have proven retail sales or customer service skills and experience
Bonus Points for
- A background in the agricultural sector
- A broad knowledge of agricultural products and services
- Leadership experience
- Equine knowledge and experience
