Job Description Summary
We are looking for a passionate Installed Based (IB) System Engineer to support and maintain the current product portfolio for Pulse Oximetry and ECG sensors.You will support cross-functional installed base (IB) team in maintaining high volume patient sensors and accessories (S&A) for medical devices used in critical care and anesthesia devices, ensuring their compliance to regulators and customers’ requirements. Our engineering team locates in Vallila, Helsinki, as part of the GE Healthcare Service and Consumables business.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Executing design changes for existing products
Ensure that product meet quality, regulatory, customer needs and medical standards
Maintain Risk Management documentation and link Risk mitigations to the product requirements
Support different functions to integrate new solutions
Create and maintain good design documentation and manage related approval reviews
Manage related technical and compliance risks
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Experience in manufacturing processes
Self-starter and quick learner
Demonstrated engineering curiosity and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Proficiency in writing technical English
Legally authorized to work in Finland
Desired Skills
Master’s degree Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent knowledge.
Experience with requirement management, risk management, test management and defect management processes and tools
Experience with standards requirements and standards testing
Product development experience in highly regulated businesses (like medical)
Experience in starting and leading change improvements initiatives
