Qualifications

What You Should Have
We are seeking energy professionals to deliver innovative LNG supply and energy solutions to our clients. As part of an interconnected team, you will provide engineering and consultancy services to the energy sector from project development to Front end engineering design (FEED). As part of the AFRY team, you will be involved in feasibility studies, conceptual design, technical due diligence, FEED, and basic engineering across LNG-to-Power projects in Asia. You should be able to lead the conceptual design for different LNG terminals that include onshore and floating and interconnection with power plants.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university
• Experience in developing Conceptual design, feasibility studies technical due diligence for LNG import terminals, LNG to Power projects
• The experience is between 5 to 8 years of Process engineering/design experience in the LNG import terminal that includes topside equipment, LNG storage tank, LNG regasification system, BOG handling system, etc.
• Ability to multi-task, manage multiple interfaces, and prioritize work
• Experience with process modeling software and experience in the use of relevant technical computing tools and design tools for hydraulic calculations, and TRV relief amongst other evaluations
• Good knowledge of industry standards and practices related to process design and safety
• Carry out PFDs & P&IDs, HMB development, Design Pressure & Temperature breaks & Protection measures, HAZOP, SIL assessment, Cryogenic Spill protection (Impoundment basin calculations), and Fire Fighting measures.
• Review and develop Flare sizing calculations, process calculations, FEED and EPC contractor's proposal, and technical design to ensure it meets the design basis for the project requirement, industry codes and standards, and best practices in the industry
• Conduct fire righting system and hydraulic calculations
• Proficiency using Aspen HYSYS, PHAST 2D, and Pipenet software
• Willingness to work with Hydrogen and Ammonia (Power-to-X) Projects
• Expert in report writing and Fluent in English communications
• Experience in Consulting firms shall be Preferred
• Only Vietnamese candidates shall be preferred and the work office shall be AFRY’s Hanoi office.
• Fluency in English and Vietnamese is Must.
