· Support the head Chef, chef and Commis I in the daily operation and work in the kitchen.

· Work according to the menu specifications by the head chef.

· Keep work area at all times in hygienic conditions according to the rules set by the restaurant.

· Control food stock and food cost in his section.

· Prepare the daily mis-en-place and food production in different sections of the main kitchen.

· Follow the instructions and recommendations from the immediate Superiors to complete the daily tasks.

· Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques. Design and cost chapatti and poori products in liaison with customer service management.

· Ensure quality control during and post production including maintenance of hygiene standard.

· Supervise and train production staff to efficiently and safely produce high volume, multiple chapatti & poori products with minimum of wastage.

· Calculate raw material needs and efficiently maintain stock levels to meet production requirements.

· Oversee description of production to match operation requirement.

· Keep his section always in higher standard of hygiene.

· Follow any other instruction giving by the shift manager or giving at the daily work plan.

· Follow up the materials used and review their validity dates

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From QAR2,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • chapati & Karak making: 3 years (Required)

Language:

  • English (Required)
