We need an enthusiastic Financial Planning and Analysis Manager who can make an impact quickly, to join our high performing Finance team.
The role serves as a finance business partner working with key stakeholders across Tourism New Zealand and Qualmark to enable decision making through management reporting and systems.
The role ensures that there's accurate budgeting and forecasting of all projects and has responsibility for reporting variances accurately and fully to the board. The role requires high stakeholder engagement across both our global whanau but also our executive team and Board. It's responsible for telling the financial performance story of Tourism New Zealand.
In addition, the role will seek reporting and process efficiencies and improvements, ensuring the project reporting system provides accurate information on a timely basis.
What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance and Accounting and CA qualified.
- Financial and accounting experience in a range of organisation sizes and types - ideally with a Crown Entity or public sector organisation subject to the Public Finance Act.
- Well-developed financial and analysis capability.
- Ability to think strategically about the financial accounting function and their role in an organisation.
- Able to operationalise an effective plan to manage and ensure optimal results.
- Committed to providing a client orientated service to internal and external stakeholders.
